With the sun shining there is nothing more fun on a weekend than to take a day trip (I call them road trips). First sunny weekend Theo, Vail and I headed over to Port Townsend for some fun in the little town eating ice-cream and walking through shops and stopped at the local beach towards the end. Vail had so much fun playing on the beach with her new water shoes and sand toys.
The following weekend we met up with Grandma Grandma and Papa to visit the Tulip Festival. First we stopped in LaConnar to walk the town, eat lunch and of course stop at the candy shop. Vail had the best time at this little antique store where she rode on the old fashioned elephant and horse.
Theo and I found two treasures in the antique store, the names of our daughters :) Vail and ...... that we will display in the house.
After the town we drover over to the tulip fields and got down and dirty. Vail wore her little rain boots and had a blast stomping in the mud puddles. She was running through the flower fields giggling and when we asked her to smell a flower, she would stick her entire face in it. We had a great time.
