We had everyone over to celebrate both of our birthdays and it took everything inside of me not to burst into tears for the love of my family. They are all amazing and each bring something special into our lives. We are so thankful we have you with us and we love you.
This was the first year that Vail new what was going on. She was so excited for Vail's birthday and loved having everyone sing Happy Birthday to you to her. A proud moment for me was when she blew out her candles and without any help blew out one on her own. What a day for me as a momma to see my little girl full of joy and happiness. When everyone left that evening, she said all our family names and asked if they would "be back soon". I told her yes and she smiled. What a lucky little girl!

Little does Vail know that we have two more celebrations to go. Cannon Beach and Portland are our next celebrations and then Vail's friends party. WOO HOO!
